   On page 6, after line 15, insert the following:

   "NEW SECTION. Sec. 6. The department of ecology shall provide an annual evidence-based progress report to the appropriate committees of the legislature. The report will evaluate the impact of new emissions standards on auto-related industries. In preparing the report, the department of ecology shall work with the department of revenue to monitor auto-related industries."

Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct internal references accordingly. Correct the title.

EFFECT: The Department of Ecology must provide an evidence-based report annually to the Legislature. The report will evaluate the impact of the emissions standards on auto-related industries.
