EFFECT: Requires the State Treasurer, on the behalf of the Department of Natural Resources, to transfer to counties the amount of property tax equal to 100 percent of true and fair value of Natural Area Preserve and Natural Resources Conservation Area lands acquired, rather than an amount equal to the tax that would be due if the lands were taxable as open space lands. Requires the Director of the Department of Fish and Wildlife to pay an amount equal to 100 percent of true and fair value of real property on certain game lands in each county, rather than an amount equal to the tax that would be due if the lands were taxable as open space lands.
