On page 2, line 3, after "exposure." insert "Testing of buildings and land for the purpose of identifying the presence of lead shall be limited to areas inside a residential dwelling, as well as yard areas immediately surrounding the dwelling where children play. Commercial and industrial buildings and properties shall not be tested through the housing stock assessment program."
On page 2, line 10, after "affected" strike "property" and insert "residential properties"
EFFECT: Clarifies that the lead assessment and education program only applies to residential housing stock and not to commercial and industrial establishments.
