   On page 1, beginning on line 16, strike all of section 2 and insert the following:

   "NEW SECTION. Sec. 2. A new section is added to chapter 39.29 RCW to read as follows:

   DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENT. For purposes of satisfying the requirement in RCW 39.29.008, 41.06.142, and 43.19.1911 that certain contracts require disclosure of offshore outsourcing information, such contracts shall include a box to check to indicate that a significant percentage of the work under a contract is reasonably anticipated to be performed outside the United States. Such contracts shall not include other provisions requiring disclosure of other offshore outsourcing information."

EFFECT: Specifies that contracts which include a box to check to indicate that a significant percentage of the work under a contract is reasonably anticipated to be performed outside the U.S. satisfy the requirement that certain contracts require disclosure of offshore outsourcing information.

Specifies that contracts shall not include other provisions requiring disclosure of other offshore outsourcing information.

Deletes requirement that contracts require disclosure of: (1) The locations, by country, in which work is performed outside the U.S.; (2) the nature of the work being performed outside the U.S.; and (3) the percentage of the work being performed outside the U.S.
