On page 7, line 33, after "list." strike all words through "state." on line 36
On page 8, line 11, after "issued." insert "Once a registered voter has demonstrated that his or her right to vote has been restored, the secretary of state must take reasonable steps to ensure that a notice of proposed cancellation is not sent to the voter in error."
EFFECT: Removes the provision that the felon list not include anyone whose conviction has been invalidated or who has had the right to vote restored. Requires the Secretary of State to take reasonable steps to ensure that a voter who has had the right to vote restored is not sent a notice of proposed cancellation in error.
