   On page 24, after line 14, insert:

   "NEW SECTION. Sec. 117. A new section is added to chapter 82.08 RCW to read as follows:

   The tax levied by RCW 82.08.020 does not apply to sales of extended warranties for motor vehicles as defined in RCW 46.04.430.

   NEW SECTION. Sec. 118. A new section is added to chapter 82.12 RCW to read as follows:

   The provisions of this chapter do not apply with respect to the use of extended warranties for motor vehicles as defined in RCW 46.04.430."

   Correct the title.

EFFECT: Exempts motor vehicle extended warranties from sales and use tax.
