   On page 2, line 12, after "41.56.070" insert the following:

", except that in the initial election conducted under this act, if more than one labor organization is on the ballot and none of the choices receives a majority of the votes cast, a run-off election shall be held"

EFFECT: Specifies that, in the initial election to choose an exclusive bargaining representative of family child care providers, there will be a run-off election if none of the choices receives a majority of the votes cast (instead of receives a majority vote of the public employees within the bargaining unit).
