   On page 4, after line 23, insert "(7) Covered individuals, or groups of covered individuals, have the right to file a petition of appeal along with a signed affidavit to the office of the insurance commissioner when the covered individual can document increased out of pocket costs resulting from this act. Upon certification of the appeal, the office of the insurance commissioner shall direct the health care authority to reimburse the covered individual or groups of covered individuals from the state treasury."

   Renumber the remaining subsection consecutively and correct internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: Allows a covered individual to file an affidavit documenting increased out of pocket costs resulting from the regulation of pharmacy benefit managers. Requires the health care authority to reimburse these individuals for their increased costs.
