   On page 2, at the beginning of line 33, insert "veteran"

   On page 2, after line 33, insert the following:

   "(c) For the purposes of this subsection, "veteran" means the same as the definitions in RCW 41.04.005 and 41.04.007."

EFFECT: The percentage of labor hours set aside for apprentices on certain Department of Transportation contracts is specifically set aside for veteran apprentices.
