   On page 4, line 16, after "within" strike all material through "1998" on line 19 and insert "any area of the county in which the sales in a restaurant, tavern, or bar are negatively affected or impacted by stadia activity on days on which events are held at the baseball or football stadium"

EFFECT: Allows the 0.5 percent local sales and use tax on food and beverages in King County to be credited against the state portion of the tax in areas that are negatively affected or impacted by activity at the baseball or football stadia on game or event days.
