   On page 2, after line 17, insert the following:

   "WHEREAS, airline pension reform can be accomplished, and is best accomplished, in a manner that does not create a competitive disadvantage for those airline companies who have adequately funded and protected employee pension programs;"

EFFECT: Adds a statement to the memorial stating that airline pension reform should be accomplished in a manner that does not create a competitive disadvantage for those airline companies who have adequately funded and protected employee pension programs.
