On page 2, line 29, after "proposition" insert "if the amount of the requested levy is equal to or less than the amount of the existing levy"
EFFECT: If the amount of a requested school levy is equal to or less than the amount of the existing levy, a simple majority of those voting will approve the levy. When the amount is more, the levy must receive 60 percent voter approval and be validated by an amount that equals 40 percent of the voters in the previous general election.
