EFFECT: Requires that representatives of the Governor's office, the Department of Health, the Association of Counties, the Association of Local Public Health Officials, and the State Board of Health be members of the task force instead of working in collaboration with the task force. Removes the provision of staffing assistance by the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee. Requires the task force to review current and potential funding sources and expenditures for public health services as well as recommend potential sources of future funding.
