   On page 2, line 20, after "research" strike ", Senate committee services, and the joint legislative audit and review committee" and insert "and Senate committee services"

   On page 2, line 21, after "of the" strike "task force" and insert "joint select committee"

EFFECT: Redesignates the public health financing task force as a joint select committee. Removes the authority of the committee to appoint an executive committee and subcommittee. Requires the committee to elect a chair. Removes the provision of staffing assistance by the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee. Requires the committee to review current and potential funding sources and expenditures for public health services as well as recommend potential sources of future funding. Removes reimbursement provisions for nonlegislative members of the committee.
