On page 11, after line 27, insert the following:
"(3) A district may only levy the tax under this section if the
district is comprised of boundaries coextensive with the boundaries of
a county, counties, city or cities, a county transportation authority
or authorities, a public transportation benefit area or areas, or any
combination of these jurisdictions."
EFFECT: Provides that any district, in order to use the sales and use tax, define its boundaries coextensive with city, county, county transportation, or public transportation benefit area boundaries.
