   On page 3, line 6, after "rent." strike "The amount of relocation assistance shall be adjusted annually by the percentage change in the housing component of the consumer price index as published by the United States department of labor, bureau of labor statistics."

EFFECT: Strikes provision that allows the amount of relocation assistance to be adjusted annually using the Consumer Price Index. The amount of relocation assistance will therefore remain constant until changed by the legislature in statue.
