   On page 3, beginning on line 8, strike all of subsection (n) and insert the following:

   "(n) Projects that provide employment and training opportunities in: (i) Apprenticeship training programs approved by the Washington state apprenticeship council; (ii) programs conducted by an employer and approved by the department; (iii) programs conducted by private vocational schools licensed by the work force training and education coordinating board under chapter 28C.10 RCW; and (iv) programs conducted by public community or technical colleges."

EFFECT: Extends preference for Housing Trust Fund grants to applicant projects which include employment and training opportunities in programs conducted by: (1) an employer and approved by the Department of Community, Trade, and Economic Development; (2) private vocational schools; and (3) public community or technical colleges.
