   On page 3, beginning on line 8, strike all of subsection (n) and insert the following:

   "(n) Projects that provide employment opportunities for participants in: (i) Apprenticeship training programs approved by the Washington state apprenticeship council; (ii) programs conducted by private vocational schools licensed by the work force training and education coordinating board under chapter 28C.10 RCW; or (iii) programs conducted by public community or technical colleges."

EFFECT: Extends preference for Housing Trust Fund grants to applicant projects which provide employment opportunities for participants in apprenticeship training programs approved by the Washington state apprenticeship council, programs conducted by private vocational schools licensed by the workforce training and education coordinating board, or programs conducted by public community or technical colleges.
