   On page 7, line 21 of the amendment, after ""Biodiesel fuel" means" insert "(a)"

   On page 7, line 25 of the amendment, after "materials" insert "; or (b) a diesel fuel substitute produced from nonpetroleum renewable sources (inclusive of vegetable oils and animal fats) that meets the registration requirements for fuels and fuel additives established by the US EPA in 40 CFR Part 79, as of January 1, 2006, and any blending components derived from renewable fuel"

EFFECT: Broadens the definition of biodiesel fuel to include other types of fuels or blending components produced from renewable sources, provided that they meet the registration requirements for fuels and fuel additives under current federal regulations.
