   On page 4, line 7 of the amendment, after "standards." insert "The rules shall provide that the biodiesel refiner is responsible for meeting the ASTM standards required by this act when providing biodiesel fuel into the distribution system."

   On page 4, after line 36 of the amendment, insert

   "(3) The rules adopted under section 6 of this act shall also provide that the diesel refiner is responsible for meeting the ASTM standards required by this act when providing diesel fuel into the distribution system."

EFFECT: Specifies that when the Director of Agriculture is adopting rules, the biodiesel refiner is responsible for meeting the ASTM standards when providing biodiesel fuel into the distribution system. Specifies that when the Director of Agriculture is adopting rules under Section 6 of this act, the diesel refiner is responsible for meeting the ASTM standards when providing diesel into the distribution system.
