   On page 2, after line 7, insert

   "(5) The department of health shall study the relationship between the siting of carbonated beverage vending and dispensing machines in schools and childhood obesity. The department shall report to the legislature by December 1, 2007."

EFFECT: Requires the Department of Health to study the relationship between the siting of soda pop vending and dispensing machines in school and childhood obesity.
