   On page 3, line 32 of the amendment, strike "Title 18 RCW or chapter 70.127 RCW" and insert "chapters 18.57, 18.57A, 18.71, or 18.71A RCW or RCW 18.79.050"

   On page 7, beginning on line 26 of the amendment, strike section 11 and insert the following:

   "NEW SECTION. Sec. 11. Before December 1, 2006, the office of insurance commissioner shall propose to the committee established under section 10 of this act changes regarding existing statutes and regulations to allow health carriers to offer retainer practice agreements.

   NEW SECTION. Sec. 12. This act expires August 1, 2007."

EFFECT: Defines the medical professionals who are practicing retainer medicine. Directs the Office of Insurance Commissioner to propose to the Joint Select Legislative Committee on Retainer Health Care Practices any necessary changes to existing state law that would permit insurance carriers to offer retainer agreements. Eliminates January 1, 2008 effective date. Adds expiration date of August 1, 2007.
