SHB 2404 -
By Senator Jacobsen
On page 4, after line 13 of the amendment, insert the following:
"(3) The retainer health care practice shall charge a retainer fee
of no more than thirty dollars per month per person for adult retainer
subscribers whose ages are nineteen through sixty-four years, and shall
further charge children eighteen years or younger and senior adults age
sixty-five years or older no more than one-half the adult fee. The
commissioner may adjust the maximum retainer fee annually by no more
than the "medical consumer price index," not seasonally adjusted, for
all urban consumers in the Seattle-Tacoma-Bremerton area."
Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
EFFECT: Sets retainer medicine fees in statute and allows the OIC to adjust annually.
