   On page 11, after line 6, insert the following:

   "NEW SECTION. Sec. 9. The superintendent of public instruction shall report to the legislature by December 1, 2007 regarding the number of students estimated to participate in the high school completion option created under section 3 of this act."

EFFECT: Directs the superintendent of public instruction to report to the legislature by December 1, 2007 regarding the number of students who will likely participate in the high school completion option.
