Background:
There are a number of Rules of the Road that apply specifically to motorcycles. On roadways
laned for traffic, one of these rules prohibits a motorcycle rider from operating his or her vehicle
between lanes of traffic or between lines or rows of vehicles.
Summary of Bill:
During periods of traffic congestion a person may operate a motorcycle between lanes of traffic
or between adjacent lines or rows of vehicles.
Appropriation: None.
Fiscal Note: Not requested.
Effective Date: The bill takes effect 90 days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
