Background:

The Mental Health task force was established in 2004 to review and make recommendations on several issues related to the financing and operation of the community mental health system.

Summary of Bill:

The Mental Health task force will study caseloads maintained by mental health workers and the extent to which they pose health and safety issues to clients, workers, and the general public.

Appropriation: None.

Fiscal Note: Not requested.

Effective Date: The bill takes effect 90 days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
