Background:

The last day for an elector to register to vote or to transfer his or her registration is 30 days before an election. However, late registration provisions allow an elector to register to vote or to transfer his or her registration within 15 days of an election if he or she registers or transfers his or her vote in person at the appropriate county office and votes an absentee ballot for that upcoming election.

Summary:

The option by which an elector may transfer his or her registration within 15 days of an election is removed.
