Background: In 2001 the Legislature created an advisory committee to assist the Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Fish and Wildlife Commission on matters relating to disabled hunters and fishers. The committee has helped establish policies to allow more handicapped persons hunt and fish. A report was prepared for the Legislature in 2004, and permanent status for the committee was recommended.

Summary of Bill: The Disabled Hunters and Fishers Advisory Committee is made permanent.
