Background: The Department of Licensing (DOL) may provide legal and registered vehicle owner information only to certain groups for specified uses.

Summary of Bill: When both a residential and a mailing address are on file with the DOL, only the mailing address may be disclosed unless the request for information is from: a law enforcement agency; a government entity with enforcement, investigative, or taxing authority; or for use in court proceedings or preparation for court proceedings.
