Background: Under current law, four members of the county road administration board are to come from counties with a population from 12,000 to less than 125,000 and two members are to come from counties with a population of less than 12,000.

Summary of Bill: Four members of the county road administration board are to come from counties with a population from 20,000 to less than 125,000 and two members are to come from counties with a population of less than 20,000.

Appropriation: None.

Fiscal Note: Not requested.

Effective Date: Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.

Testimony For: Since the original bill became law there has been growth in population levels. By adjusting population levels from 12,000 to 20,000 it restores the balance originally established. It is a good correction.
