Background: Commercial and farm vehicles licensed under the combined license fee statutes are currently allowed to purchase monthly license permits. Farm vehicles that meet certain exemption conditions are allowed to register under a formula that allows them to pay a reduced, annual licensing fee equal to roughly half the annual fee. Farm vehicles are also eligible to purchase three trip permits per month of up to three days per permit at a cost of $20 per permit.

Summary of Bill: Allows farm vehicles to purchase only the remaining days of the month in the first month of a monthly license permit.
