AN ACT Relating to aquatic rehabilitation zones; adding a new chapter to Title 90 RCW; and declaring an emergency.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1 (1) An aquatic rehabilitation zone is established. The aquatic rehabilitation zone shall include all counties that border Hood Canal bounded by a line projected from Tala Point in Jefferson county to Foulweather Bluff in Kitsap county.
(2) The provisions of this chapter apply only to aquatic rehabilitation zones. Aquatic rehabilitation zones shall be governed exclusively by the provisions of this chapter and by provisions in other chapters that are expressly applied to aquatic rehabilitation zones.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2 Section 1 of this act constitutes a new chapter in Title 90 RCW.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 3 This act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or safety, or support of the state government and its existing public institutions, and takes effect immediately.
