     AN ACT Relating to the highway weight limit for farm implements; and amending RCW 46.44.130.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

Sec. 1   RCW 46.44.130 and 1979 ex.s. c 136 s 76 are each amended to read as follows:
     The limitations of RCW 46.44.010, 46.44.020, 46.44.030, and 46.44.041 shall not apply to the movement of farm implements of less than one hundred sixty thousand pounds gross weight for farm implements transporting dairy nutrients that comply with the provisions of chapter 90.64 RCW or forty-five thousand pounds gross weight for all other farm implements, a total length of seventy feet or less, and a total outside width of fourteen feet or less when being moved while patrolled, flagged, lighted, signed, and at a time of day in accordance with rules hereby authorized to be adopted by the department of transportation and the statutes. Violation of a rule adopted by the department as authorized by this section or a term of this section is a traffic infraction.
