   On page 2, line 5, after "to serve in" strike the remainder of line 5 and all of line 6, and insert "World War II, ((or)) the Korean conflict, or the Vietnam era as defined in RCW 41.04.005."

EFFECT: For veterans who left high school before graduation to serve in the armed forces, this amendment limits eligibility for issuance of a high school diploma to those who served in World War II, the Korean conflict, or the Vietnam era.
