   On page 3, line 1, after "directors" insert "or school districts"

   On page 3, line 11, after "director" insert "or school district"

EFFECT: Allows school districts to adjust the apprenticeship utilization requirements if there is a demonstrated lack of availability of apprentices, if there is a disproportionately high ratio of material costs to labor hours, if participating contractors have demonstrated a good faith effort to comply with the requirements, or if there are other criteria the school district deems appropriate. (These are the same as the reasons for adjustment that awarding agency directors use under current apprenticeship utilization law).
