   On page 3, beginning on line 1 of the striking amendment, after "upon" strike all material through "birds" on line 2 and insert "species identified as endangered under the federal endangered species act"

EFFECT: Removes the emphasis on conserving forage fish, salmonids, and migratory birds from the list of the Department of Natural Resources' management goals for the Maury Island Aquatic Reserve. Instead, requires the emphasis to be on conserving species identified as endangered under the federal Endangered Species Act.
