   On page 4, line 29, after "2008." insert "In each county, this salary adjustment shall not take effect until the start of an elected prosecutor's term of office that begins after the effective date of this act."

EFFECT: Elected prosecuting attorneys shall not receive the state's contribution of an amount equal to one half of a superior court judge's salary until the prosecutor's next term of office begins after the bill's effective date.
