   On page 6, after line 26 of the striking amendment, insert the following:

   "NEW SECTION. Sec. 6. Nothing in sections 2 through 4 of this act may be construed to require counties, cities, or persons to comply with climate change requirements that conflict or otherwise differ from applicable federal requirements."

   Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: Specifies that nothing in certain provisions of the underlying amendment may be construed to require counties, cities, or persons to comply with climate change requirements that conflict or otherwise differ from applicable federal requirements.
