   On page 2, line 20 of the striking amendment, after "government" strike "global warming mitigation and adaption program" and insert "grant program to fund pilot projects to determine if jurisdictions can significantly reduce greenhouse gases"

   On page 3, line 10 of the striking amendment, after "section." insert "Any selected county or city receiving benefits under this act must agree to track its administrative costs, expenditures, and employee time related to addressing climate change."

EFFECT: 1) Changes the focus of the program created under the act to one which funds pilot projects to determine the feasability of reducing greenhouse gas emissions through land use and transportation planning by counties and cities; and 2) requires that jurisdictions participating in the program account for all costs related to such participation.
