On page 2, after line 22, insert the following:
"(6) In the event that any city, town, or county notified under
subsection (5)(b) of this section responds within thirty business days
of receipt of notice with a written objection to the condemnation, a
watershed management partnership shall postpone condemnation for not
more than thirty business days and meet and confer with representatives
of the city, town, or county within thirty business days of receipt of
written objection to the condemnation."
EFFECT: Amends the bill to include language providing that upon receipt of notice prior to a watershed management partnership board authorizing condemnation, if a city, town, or county responds within 30 business days with a written objection to the condemnation, a watershed management partnership shall postpone condemnation for not more than 30 business days and meet and confer with representatives of the city, town, or county within 30 business days of receipt of written objection to the condemnation.
