On page 1, after line 6, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 2 For the 2009-2011 biennium, five million
seven hundred thousand dollars of the money derived from repealing the
handling loss deduction, established in section 10, chapter 176, Laws
of 1998, must be used for the design of the Spokane river to state
route number 90 new alignment in the north Spokane corridor of state
route number 395."
Renumber the remaining section consecutively and correct the title.
EFFECT: For 2009-2011, 5.7 million dollars of the money that is derived by eliminating the handling loss deduction for the motor vehicle fuel tax is to be used for the design of state route number 395, North Spokane Corridor, Spokane River to I-90 new alignment.
