    On page 4, after line 31 of the striking amendment, insert the following:

    "(9) Nothing in this section or RCW 90.58.090: (a) Affects or may be construed as affecting exemptions in chapter 90.58 RCW pertaining to construction or modification of navigational aids, including channel markers and anchor buoys; or (b) subjects or may be construed as subjecting exemptions in chapter 90.58 RCW pertaining to construction or modification of navigational aids, including channel markers and anchor buoys, to chapter 36.70A RCW."

EFFECT:  Specifies that nothing in certain provisions of the striking amendment: (a) affects or may be construed as affecting exemptions in the Shoreline Management Act (SMA) pertaining to construction or modification of navigational aids, including channel markers and anchor buoys; or (b) subjects or may be construed as subjecting exemptions in the SMA pertaining to construction or modification of navigational aids, including channel markers and anchor buoys, to the Growth Management Act.
