     On page 6, line 8, after "section" strike "is" and insert ":
     (a) Is"

     On page 6, line 10, after "42.17.128" insert "; and
     (b) May not use the funds to support or oppose a candidate, ballot proposition, political party, or political committee"

EFFECT:  Prohibits an authority that accepts public funds from using those funds to support or oppose a candidate, ballot proposition, political party, or political committee.
