    On page 5, beginning on line 23, after "medical care" strike ". However, electronic monitoring shall not be required if the offender is bedridden or is totally dependent on others for mobility." and insert ", in which case, an alternative type of monitoring shall be utilized."

 

      

    EFFECT:   Requires the Department of Corrections to use an alternative type of monitoring in circumstances where electronic monitoring of an offender placed on extraordinary medical placement would interfere with the function of the offender's medical equipment or would result in the loss of funding for the offender's medical care.
