On page 18, after line 32 of the amendment, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 27 The secretary of state shall submit this
act to the people for their adoption and ratification, or rejection, at
the next general election to be held in this state, in accordance with
Article II, section 1 of the state Constitution and the laws adopted to
facilitate its operation."
Renumber the remaining section consecutively.
On page 19, line 2 of the amendment, after "effect" strike "October 1" and insert "December 15"
Correct the title.
EFFECT: Requires the bill to be submitted to the voters at the November election.
