    On page 7, beginning on line 28 of the striking amendment, strike all of section 4

    Renumber the remaining section consecutively, correct any internal references accordingly and correct the title.

EFFECT:   Removes the authorization for the Department of Ecology (DOE) to periodically adjust the application fees. Removes the requirement that before proposing to adopt any changes to the fees, the DOE must consult with the policy committees of the Legislature that review water resources legislation.
