    On page 2, at the end of line 29, after "product." insert "The department must recommend environmentally preferred products whose cost is comparable to non-environmentally preferred products designed for the same purpose."

EFFECT:  Requires the Department of General Administration to consider the cost of environmentally preferred products and recommend those whose cost is comparable to similar but non-environmentally preferred products.
