On page 5, after line 30 of the amendment, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 7 A new section is added to chapter 90.48 RCW
to read as follows:
By December 31, 2010, the department, in coordination with the
Puget Sound partnership must convene a broad stakeholder engagement
process that includes local government, environmental organizations,
and businesses. The goal of this process is to develop recommendations
for a comprehensive and broad-based approach to funding storm water
management and clean-up, including identification of all local, state,
and federal resources that are available for this purpose."
Renumber the remaining sections consecutively.
EFFECT: Requires, by December 31, 2010, a broad stakeholder engagement process to develop recommendations for a comprehensive and broad-based approach to funding storm water management and clean-up.
