    On page 1, line 7, after "(2)" strike everything through "budget."  on line 9 and insert the following:

    "The transfer in subsection (1) of this section is to avoid additional state general fund tax increases in the 2010 legislative session."

EFFECT:  Deletes the declaration that the transfer from the Budget Stabilization Account to the state General Fund is to minimize reductions to public school programs in the 2010 supplemental operating budget.  Adds a declaration that the purpose of the transfer is to avoid additional General Fund tax increases in the 2010 legislative session.
