    On page 3, line 35 of the amendment, after "(5)" insert "Any recommendations produced by the food policy forum to protect land and water resources are nonbinding on local governments and may not be used as a basis for any growth management act, shoreline management act, or watershed planning act appeals.

EFFECT:   Prohibits recommendations from the food policy forum to be used as the basis for appeals under the growth management act, shoreline management act, or watershed planning act.
